For two days, the British Race Festival made up for a beautiful mix of fascinating races, extraordinary demos, enthusiastic single-make clubs and the very first Concours d’Alledaags. “We thoroughly enjoyed it”, was a frequently heard comment afterwards.
Circuit Zandvoort was part of the British Empire for the entire week. “You are now leaving the EU”, visitors read on the access road.
The British Race Festival welcomed two ‘all British’ racing classes. The Mini Seven Racing Club entertained the audience with close racing and lots of spectacle, including the occasional lifted 10 inch wheel. The Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club came up with a suggestive grid of mainly XJS models in action.
